The Role: Data Quality Specialist
The Data Quality Specialist will be a critical part of our data team, focusing on maintaining and improving data processes and discovering new data sources. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creative problem-solving, data manipulation, and continuous learning, joining as a collaborative member interacting with data, customer, and product-facing roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing, analyzing, and processing news content from MedTech companies to generate actionable user insights.
- Identifying new MedTech companies and data sources to expand Zapyrus's data coverage.
- Ensuring a high level of quality in recurring data processes.
- Utilizing LLMs to identify and extract key information about MedTech companies and their devices.
- Executing individual data tasks and projects within defined timelines.

- Educational background in Life Sciences (MSc-level completed).
- 1+ years of work experience with data responsibilities.
- Ability to collaborate in teams while also working independently/remotely.
- Experience executing complex multi-step processes.
- Demonstrated decision-making ability in ambiguous situations.
- Above-average reading comprehension.
- Comfortable with routine tasks alongside creative problem-solving.
- Experience with LLMs and a keen interest in applying them.
- Exceptional proficiency with spreadsheets for data manipulation and visualization.
