Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to lead complex, enterprise-scale initiatives at the intersection of data, technology, and business outcomes. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in data engineering who has evolved into a client-facing leader capable of driving delivery, planning, and execution at the executive level. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders, ensuring high-quality delivery while translating technical complexity into clear, actionable plans that align with business objectives—particularly within banking and financial services environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise-level data and technology initiatives
  • Own project planning, execution, and delivery governance, ensuring scope, timeline, and quality alignment
  • Act as a trusted partner to executive stakeholders, demonstrating strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Translate complex data and engineering concepts into clear plans, milestones, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and product stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and delivery excellence
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery trade-offs proactively
  • Drive alignment between technical teams and business leaders, especially in regulated environments such as banking
  • Ensure delivery best practices across documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication

What We’re Looking For

  • Enterprise-level delivery experience, ideally within consulting or large-scale organizations
  • Strong data knowledge and hands-on experience, with a background in Data Engineering preferred
  • Proven ability to create and manage project planning documentation (roadmaps, delivery plans, milestones, risks)
  • Experience working with or within the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, challenge, and align senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, able to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfort operating in complex, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments

Ideal Profile

  • Former Data Engineer who transitioned into delivery, project, or technical leadership roles
  • Deep understanding of data platforms, pipelines, and analytics use cases
  • Experienced in managing delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Client-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Salary

Salary range: CA$138,000 - CA$207,000 annually, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.

Location
