What You’ll Do

As a Solutions Architect - Financial Services, you will act as a trusted advisor and technical authority, working alongside engineering leads, product teams, and system integrators to design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions. Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and articulating current-state and future-state architectures, both logical and physical.
• Defining and governing solution patterns in compliance with architectural standards and enterprise strategy.
• Partnering with product teams to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies.
• Providing architectural guidance from ideation to implementation.
• Representing architecture in governance forums and ensuring quality assurance.
• Building strong stakeholder relationships to influence business and technology outcomes.
• Contributing to transformation roadmaps and long-term technology direction.
• Participating in vendor selection processes, including drafting and assessing RFI/RFP responses.
• Challenging the status quo and championing innovative approaches.

What We’re Looking For

You should bring proven experience as a Solutions Architect, ideally in financial services or regulated environments. Key requirements include:

• Strong understanding of end-to-end credit processes, with exposure to e-commerce or retail credit models.
• Experience governing architectural solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver holistic designs even with limited information.
• Awareness of IT industry trends with a technology-neutral mindset.
• Confidence in presenting solutions and guiding delivery teams.

Nice to Have

Additional desirable skills and experiences include:

• AWS experience and AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience with solution architecture in large-scale transformation programs.
• Familiarity with finance, procurement, HR, security, or logistics domains.
• Experience with modern techniques like API-first design, Cloud Native, containerization, and PaaS on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience working with Agile product teams supporting continuous delivery.
