Job Description
What You Will Do
As a Fullstack JavaScript Engineer, MarTech at Lumenalta, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining scalable full-stack applications. You will be instrumental in architecting and implementing advanced tracking and analytics solutions across a variety of MarTech tools, developing clean event schemas, and designing robust data-layer standards. This position involves implementing serverless workflows, designing APIs for marketing automation, and collaborating extensively with product, marketing, and data teams to translate business needs into technical tracking designs. You will also ensure strong data governance, consent management, and contribute to a senior-only engineering environment through code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentorship.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- 4+ years of senior-level hands-on experience with JavaScript, Node.js, Express, and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred).
- Strong experience integrating and implementing MarTech tools such as Segment, Tealium, GTM, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar solutions.
- Experience designing data layers, event schemas, and tracking plans for complex user interactions.
- Serverless experience with AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
- Experience working with MongoDB or equivalent NoSQL data stores.
- Ability to write clean, modern, testable, well-documented code.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and marketing teams.
- Professional, empathetic, team-oriented mindset.
- Problem solver with a proactive, ownership-driven approach.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
Salary
The annual salary for this position ranges from CA$76,000 to CA$139,000. Final compensation will be determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the scope of the role.
Location
This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be based in regions that align with the Pacific, Central, or Eastern U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration with client and team schedules.

Position Details
This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
