The Role
The Intern DevOps Engineer Summer 2026 position requires full-time (40 hours/week) commitment during the program dates from May 29 to August 7, 2026. This role is fully remote within the continental US. US Work Authorization is required. Interns will support AWS operations, automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, contribute to CI/CD pipeline development, monitor cloud environments, and write Python scripts.
- Support AWS environments (EC2, EKS, and networking).
- Automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and deployment.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and document cloud environment issues.
- Develop Python scripts to enhance automation.
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates must be enrolled in a 4-year college, preferably in computer science or related fields, and be at rising senior level or recent graduates (2026-2028). Familiarity with Linux, AWS, Infrastructure-as-Code, Python scripting, and networking fundamentals is required. Preferred qualifications include hands-on lab experience with Kubernetes/EKS, CI/CD tools, and monitoring/logging tools.
Compensation
Hourly pay ranges from $31 to $46 based on education level, geographic location, and qualifications.
What to Expect Next
Applicants will undergo a virtual assessment followed by video interviews. Interviews occur in rounds with first round in October, work team panels in November, and summer internship offers extended in December.
