About Lumen's Internship Program

Join our fully immersive 10-week summer internship to gain hands-on experience in digital innovation, learn from experts, and drive technology forward.

The Role

As an Intern - Data Analyst Summer 2026 within Lumen's IT Program Management team, you will work full time (40 hours/week) throughout the program, focusing on data analysis, reporting, visualization, and insights to optimize IT transformation decisions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions using Power BI and similar tools.
  • Interpret findings and insights to communicate results with team members and business partners.
  • Develop and automate processes to cleanse, integrate, and analyze structured and unstructured data.
  • Utilize machine learning and advanced analytics for actionable insights.

Required Qualifications

Must be enrolled in a 4-year accredited college; rising senior expected between August 2026 and May 2028. Preferred studies include Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with project management and planning
  • Interest in enhancing reporting skills using SQL or similar query languages

Compensation & Program Details

This is a fully remote position (continental US) with hourly pay ranging from $31 to $46, based on qualifications.
