With over 600 'Lumies' across 11 offices globally, we support large enterprises worldwide. Under the impulse of our new shareholder Bridgepoint, we are in an ambitious phase to become a clear market leader. The Opportunity: Product Transition Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Product Transition Manager to design and execute seamless, customer-centric product migration plans. In this hands-on role, you will be the driving force behind post-merger integrations and major product releases/sunsets, building the blueprints for migration, deployment, and communication. You will be responsible for moving thousands of customers and years of legacy data into a unified, superior future state. This position requires diving into the technical "how" of migration while simultaneously navigating the complex human and organizational "why" to ensure every product change is a positive and frictionless experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

  • Customer-First Focus: Partner closely with Customer Success to champion a customer-centric approach from product development to migration execution.
  • Build the Blueprint: Develop comprehensive, technical migration and deployment plans, defining the technical approach, phased rollouts, and clear success metrics, ensuring data integrity, feature parity, and system performance.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with product management, engineering, and leadership to determine optimal paths for merging or migrating platforms/features, making data-driven decisions to create a unified user experience.
  • Draft the Narrative: Create and execute effective internal and external communication strategies.
  • Drive Decision-Making: Act as the primary decision-maker in high-pressure situations, resolving deadlocks between competing product visions and technical constraints.
  • Risk Management & Communication: Proactively identify and mitigate migration risks, regularly reporting progress, challenges, and key decisions to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Who You Are

This role spans across departments and requires success through influence without formal authority:

  • Influence Without Power: Build deep, trust-based relationships across Engineering, Sales, Finance, Professional Services, and Customer Success to drive alignment.
  • Technical Acumen: Possess a strong understanding of software development lifecycles, system architecture, and common migration methodologies; comfortable discussing technical challenges.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: See the big picture and manage granular details, using data to inform decisions and articulate complex strategies clearly.
  • Exceptional Communication: Effectively convey technical and business concepts to diverse audiences, from engineers to executives and customers.
  • Customer Obsession: Proven track record of designing user-experience-centric solutions.
  • Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve friction points, facilitating difficult conversations to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

Must-have:

  • Business-level fluency in English.
  • 5+ years experience in Product Management, Technical Program Management, or M&A Integration, specifically involving platform consolidation or large-scale customer migrations.
  • Technical Depth: Ability to understand system architecture, APIs, and data schemas to identify risks early.
  • Change Management / Project Management Mastery: Professional experience in formal project or change management methodologies, with a track record of high-friction transitions.
  • Global Perspective: Experience working in a global, distributed organization, adapting strategies for international markets.
  • Decisiveness: History of making hard, data-driven decisions without easy answers or consensus.

Nice-to-have:

  • Certifications in project management (PMP, Agile) or change management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Fluency in French or German.

Why You’ll Love Working at LumApps

We pride ourselves on a supportive, valued, and empowering work environment:

  • Hybrid work model: 2 days at the office, 3 days remote.
  • 10 extra RTT days off per year.
  • Meal vouchers (SWILE) + free snacks & coffee.
  • Yoga classes in our Paris office.
  • Supportive parental leave and family events.
  • Health insurance (ALAN) – 60% covered + full life & disability cover.
  • Afterworks, team celebrations & seasonal parties.
  • Equipment of your choice.
  • French & English lessons, professional development & access to Leeto CSE.
