Job Summary
The Assistant Manager, Guest Experience is a vital member of the store leadership team at lululemon. Reporting to the Store Manager, this role focuses on ensuring every guest receives a quality experience by leading on the floor, building and developing the team, and managing day-to-day operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Create and foster a respectful, inclusive team environment.
- Lead dynamically on the floor to address guest and business needs.
- Engage with team members to connect their work with store success.
- Manage recruitment, hiring, and onboarding to build a diverse team.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance management for staff growth.
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by assessing guest connection and product education.
- Address guest feedback, escalating issues and ensuring resolutions.
- Manage sell-through, inventory accuracy, and visual merchandising compliance.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements.
Job Requirements
Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the store location and have reliable transportation.
Schedule/Availability: Full-time, 38 hours per week with a varied schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Experience: At least 1 year of people management and leadership experience, including managing business operations and team projects.
Nice to Have: Retail or sales management experience, recruiting/hiring experience, and a high school diploma or above.

Work Context
The role involves working on the store floor in dynamic environments with music and bright lights, handling physical tasks such as moving boxes up to 30 lbs, and collaborating both independently and as part of a team. Use of technical devices like computers will be required.
