Position Overview
The Production Supervisor, Powertrain Quality - 2nd Shift is responsible for overseeing quality operations during 1st and 2nd shifts. The role primarily focuses on ensuring exceptional quality for powertrain components while coordinating with multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee quality operations for 1st and 2nd shifts.
- Ensure complete coverage for quality operations across multiple processes.
- Serve as the main point of contact between departments including GA, Logistics, HR, and manufacturing.
- Drive timely escalation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Coordinate quality campaigns and audits while learning new technologies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2+ years in powertrain manufacturing, quality, or repair.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mechanical/electrical tools.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
Preferred Skills
- HV safety knowledge.
- Experience with torque and high precision tools.
- Inspection and quality processes experience.
Working Hours
This position operates on a 2 days & 2 nights cycle, ensuring continuous quality oversight.
