Role Overview: Incoming Quality Engineer II, Powertrain Quality

This role oversees quality and manufacturing aspects of incoming powertrain components, serving as a critical liaison between manufacturing, engineering, and supplier quality teams.

You Will:

  • Manage quality assurance and manufacturing processes for incoming components.
  • Act as liaison between cross-functional teams for continuous improvement.
  • Lead or support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement departmental control and reaction plans.
  • Coordinate material segregation, sorts and reworks for quality issues.
  • Travel up to 25%, occasionally on short notice.

You Bring:

  • Bachelor's in Engineering or STEM equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years in the automotive industry, preferably with powertrain systems.
  • Experience with high voltage electrical or mechanical components.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
