Role Overview: Incoming Quality Engineer II, Powertrain Quality
This role oversees quality and manufacturing aspects of incoming powertrain components, serving as a critical liaison between manufacturing, engineering, and supplier quality teams.
You Will:
- Manage quality assurance and manufacturing processes for incoming components.
- Act as liaison between cross-functional teams for continuous improvement.
- Lead or support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Develop and implement departmental control and reaction plans.
- Coordinate material segregation, sorts and reworks for quality issues.
- Travel up to 25%, occasionally on short notice.
You Bring:
- Bachelor's in Engineering or STEM equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in the automotive industry, preferably with powertrain systems.
- Experience with high voltage electrical or mechanical components.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
