About the Role

At Lucid Motors, we are revolutionizing luxury electric mobility by focusing on fundamental design and engineering excellence. As an Engineer, Chassis Electronics Integration, you will develop, build, calibrate and validate systems for chassis and vehicle dynamics control.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support software and hardware delivery for braking, steering, and suspension control systems.
  • Collaborate with Vehicle Controls, Electronics, and Dynamics teams.
  • Develop and execute system design validation plans in virtual, HiL, and vehicle environments.
  • Work on multiple complex projects in a demanding environment.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in the automotive industry or related field.
  • Understanding of Vehicle Dynamics theory and practical vehicle testing.
  • Proficiency in Matlab, Python, CAPL scripting, and model-based design.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and familiarity with automotive communication protocols.

Advantageous Skills

  • Experience with Electric Park Brake, BLE sensors, or suspension control systems.
  • Familiarity with Vector tools such as CANape, CANalyzer, and CDMStudio.
  • Technical project management and functional safety training.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and continual learning mindset.

Education & Benefits

A BS/BEng or MS/MEng in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related field is required, or equivalent experience.
