Role Overview: Director, Strategy

Lucid Motors is seeking a visionary and data-driven strategic leader to shape the future of our business at the intersection of automotive innovation and advanced technology. You will partner with the executive leadership team to develop both long-range and near-term strategies, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and position Lucid for sustainable growth in the competitive EV and mobility ecosystem.

You Will

• Lead annual and long-range strategic planning across business units.
• Partner with Finance, Engineering, Sales & Service, Marketing, and Operations.
• Analyze global trends in EVs, autonomous driving, and enterprise AI.
• Deliver market intelligence and competitor insights for executive decisions.
• Drive scenario planning, strategic investments, and business case development.

You Bring

• 15+ years in corporate strategy, consulting, or related roles.
• Expertise in the EV, automotive, or mobility ecosystem.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced financial modeling capabilities.
• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional initiatives and teams.
• Excellent communication skills with executive presence.

Great To Have

• Familiarity with strategic frameworks such as Where to Play / How to Win.
• Experience in both high-growth startups and global companies.
• Understanding of hardware/software lifecycle management.

Education & Compensation

A bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA preferred. This role offers a competitive salary range of $191,600 to $280,940 USD along with a comprehensive benefits package and potential equity participation.
