Sustainable Investment Data Analyst

Join LSEG's Sustainable Investment Data Operations team in London. This role focuses on maintaining the integrity and accuracy of ESG data for FTSE’s Sustainable Index products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quarterly reviews of internal and third-party ESG datasets.
  • Investigate data anomalies and challenge exceptions with vendors.
  • Produce exception trend reports for continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate new ESG datasets through vendor due diligence.
  • Collaborate with IT Engineers and Product teams to enhance systems.
  • Perform user acceptance testing on new system functionalities.
  • Manage large-scale ESG datasets in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with ESG or Sustainable Investment data.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Desirable experience in vendor management and exception handling.
  • Comfortable with large, complex datasets and data systems.
  • Familiarity with SQL and Python is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn.
