Role Summary
LSEG and Microsoft have formed a strategic partnership to build next-generation data, analytics, and cloud infrastructure solutions. This collaboration will transform how customers discover, analyze, and trade securities globally, advancing LSEG's cloud strategy and strengthening resilience, efficiency, and agility. As part of this large-scale transformation program, with multiple parallel migrations, the Migration Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring all migration activities run smoothly, risks are managed effectively, and issues are resolved quickly. This role will require occasional weekend working to support migration events.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintaining oversight of all ongoing Azure migrations, ensuring issues and risks receive appropriate focus and are driven to resolution.
- Collaborating closely across technical and business teams to resolve issues, risks, and process challenges.
- Producing clear, timely reporting and status updates across all migration workstreams.
- Identifying potential risks or blockers early and taking proactive action to minimize impact.
- Acting as an escalation point during change windows, supporting teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Managing multiple competing priorities across a complex program landscape with parallel migrations.
What You'll Bring
- Cloud concepts and migration understanding and an ability to work across multi-party technical landscapes.
- Delivery execution and oversight skills including structured tracking, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and progress management.
- A structured, methodical approach with the ability to stay on top of change and adjust quickly.
- Strong experience reporting complex datasets to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people, including third-party suppliers and teams across LSEG Technology and the wider organization.
- Handling ambiguity and complexity – navigating uncertainty, competing priorities, and high volume.
