About the Role

The Lead DevOps Engineer at LSEG is a pivotal role in the Risk Intelligence division within the Digital Identity & Fraud DevOps team. You will collaborate with multiple development teams to build and support the latest platform offering for Digital Identity flagship products, emphasizing phases such as Build, Test, Deploy, and Monitor.

Job Responsibilities

You will enhance the CI/CD Automation suite, improve developer tools, and modernize processes to unlock innovation. Responsibilities include:

  • Rapid developer onboarding and improving delivery cadence
  • Building and deploying containerized solutions using Kubernetes and Docker on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Supporting development teams and implementing DevOps best practices
  • Monitoring systems, managing releases, and troubleshooting infrastructure issues
  • Participating in agile workflows (SCRUM and Kanban) to meet tight deadlines

Key Technical Skills

Key technologies include Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Kubernetes/Helm, Docker, CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab or Github), Monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus), and databases like PostgreSQL/MySQL/CosmosDB/No-SQL.

Qualifications and Experience

A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 8 years of enterprise DevOps experience are required. The role demands 5+ years hands-on with cloud infrastructure, Terraform, CI/CD solutions, Kubernetes, logging/monitoring solutions, and strong analytical and communication skills.
