About the Content Analyst Role at LSEG Lipper

This Content Analyst role is critical to the Price and Performance Lipper team at LSEG, which is dedicated to delivering high-quality, independent fund content and analytics to the global investment community. The team emphasizes customer collaboration, supporting report migration, resolving data integrity issues, and ensuring accurate, timely processing of financial data. Collaborating with Client Success Managers, product management, and internal partners, the team documents customer use cases, streamlines operations, and significantly enhances the overall client experience. Leveraging deep financial expertise and a commitment to continuous improvement, this role drives innovation and operational efficiency across Lipper’s suite of investment management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze reports to provide feedback on feasibility and timelines, liaising with product management for alternatives when necessary.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency for customers.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to internal partners and customers.
  • Handle general customer queries related to content and files, working with customer support as needed.
  • Collaborate with product management to capture future requirements for inclusion into LSEG Lipper for Investment Management.
  • Assist in resolving client data issue cases, responsible for sourcing, collecting, and curating content from financial documents, instruments, and feed sources across Lipper content sets and products/services.
  • Actively participate in the acquisition, creation, calculation, maintenance, and quality assurance of Lipper service results, coordinating and implementing ad hoc product delivery projects.
  • Support client case resolution by efficiently fixing data integrity, missing data, and similar issues.
  • Process data accurately and timely, applying knowledge of tools and financial markets.
  • Utilize approved sources to identify, convert, or contribute valuable data as defined by collection policy.
  • Communicate and collaborate with various teams to efficiently support data sourcing and collection.
  • Adhere to quality metrics and prioritize activities to meet business and customer requirements.
  • Support assigned projects, aiming to meet or exceed defined metrics.
  • Suggest process improvement ideas to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
  • Responsible for the creation and automation of fund data files received from dedicated shared mailboxes and FTP servers.
  • Support and assist with issues regarding data processing and automations.
  • Communicate server/mailbox issues to the Developer/Support Team.
