Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follows steps of service with warmth and hospitality and maintains a sense of urgency throughout service.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of our food and beverage menus including ingredients, preparations, and suppliers.
- Makes food and beverage suggestions to guests.
- Anticipates and responds to guest needs while continuously communicating with colleagues, management, and kitchen staff.
- Handles transactional duties and manages guest checks in the POS system.
- Maintains a clean, orderly, and welcoming restaurant environment.
- Some shifts as a Bartender pouring and mixing beer, wine, and cocktails.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous guest-facing experience (1+ years’) in a high-volume full-service restaurant.
- Knowledge of Toast or similar point of sale platform.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, and mixed cocktails.
- Ability to effectively communicate and connect with guests.
- Warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy restaurant environment.
- Exceptional time management and communication skills.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
- Evening & Weekend availability is a must.

- Hourly Rate: $11.35/hour (plus $30-$45/hour in tips!).

Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional restaurant environment. This role routinely requires the use of computers and other electronic devices. The host station is small, and traffic is high. The workspace is on 2 levels and the ability to use stairs is required. This is an FLSA non-exempt hourly position on the restaurant floor.
Essential Functions
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, kneeling, bending and movement throughout the space.
- Expression/exchange of ideas both verbally and through non-verbal means.
- Must be able to obtain impressions through the eyes.
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying loads of up to 15 lbs.
- Tolerance of heat, cold, and loud/noisy environments.
