Overview

The Regional HR Business Partner at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores aligns business objectives with employees and management across a multi-state division. Serving as a strategic partner to leadership, this role requires deep involvement in HR policies, employee relations, and talent management.

Job Functions

  • Consult with Division Director on HR-related issues.
  • Lead and communicate business strategy effectively.
  • Act as an employee champion and change agent.
  • Execute COE programs across the division.
  • Handle complex employee relations, terminations, counseling, coaching, and documentation.
  • Interpret HR policies, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Link management and employees by resolving work-related problems.
  • Manage HR investigations, disciplinary processes, and exit interviews.
  • Collaborate with recruiters and support staffing functions.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years HR experience.
  • Preferred 5+ years multi-unit, retail, or restaurant industry experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR specific software.
  • Strong presentation, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Must have a valid driver license and willingness for weekly and overnight travel.
