About The Job
The Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Louis Vuitton's compensation and benefits programs across the Mediterranean region. This role ensures programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with CoDir, EMEA, and Maison goals. It requires a deep understanding of labor market trends, practices, and relevant legal/regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits Management:
- Develop and manage compensation strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Conduct annual and ad hoc market and trend analysis using salary survey data and market research.
- Annually assess benefits offerings and recommend improvements or adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal regulations related to employee conditions.
- Develop competitive package proposals for managerial roles and international mobility.
- Liaise with local key players in each country for benefits matters (brokers, insurance companies, service providers).
- Ensure the implementation of group commission and compensation policies at the local level.
- Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of regional C&B policies, aligning EMEA guidelines with local market realities.
- Support regional implementation of pay transparency requirements, including local adaptation of EMEA frameworks, data collection, pay gap monitoring, and compliance with country-specific equality obligations.
- Develop and roll out communication and training tools to support HRBPs in managing and understanding C&B policies effectively across the region.
Payroll, Legal & Administration:
- Ensure optimization and proper functioning of payroll systems, maintaining compliance with labor legislation.
- Interpret and implement Human Resources policies concerning administration, benefits, compensation, etc.
- Review and propose improvements for existing processes and policies.
- Monitor, approve, and control payroll processing for the 7 countries in the Mediterranean region.
- Maintain individual employee records for all corporate staff and manage HR aspects of their payroll confidentially.
- Interpret and update the HR team on changes in local regulations or collective agreements impacting C&B conditions and the business.
- Manage all immigration-related processes, including work permits, visa applications, and administrative authorizations for international assignments; act as the primary contact with local legal partners and LVMH mobility teams for compliance.
- Ensure compliance with each country's equality requirements.
HR Budget Construction, KPIs & Reporting:
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual social reports on key HR indicators for corporate (Louis Vuitton & LVMH) and auditors.
- Prepare and follow up on monthly key social indicators and relevant KPIs (absenteeism, turnover, staff flexibility, etc.).
Relevant Scope Measures
- Number of Countries: 7 (Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Kazakhstan)
- Workplace: Madrid, with sporadic travel throughout the region.
- Direct Reports: 4 (including 1 Junior/trainee)
Profile
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or Law.
Experience:
- Ideal 5-7 years of experience in C&B, with a mix of in-house and consulting backgrounds.
- Experience in a retail, service-related environment, or an international company covering multiple markets is strongly preferred.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in Spanish labor law and employee relations, as Spain is the largest market in the region.
Other Skills and Necessary Qualifications:
- Proficient in Spanish and English; French is an advantage.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.

- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; exhibiting trust and integrity.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel required, with a good understanding and interpretation of figures.
