As part of its digital transformation, Louis Vuitton is advancing its IT strategy with a strong focus on data. LV_NEO, the IT department of Louis Vuitton Services, is seeking an intern to join the DATA AI Factory. This factory comprises an excellence team in platform, AI, and BI, alongside delivery squads dedicated to specific business units.
Our BI excellence team defines BI standards and supports all teams (LV_NEO and business) in their BI initiatives.
Your missions:
- Design and develop tools to optimize the daily activities of BI stakeholders (LV_NEO and business) at Louis Vuitton.
- Contribute to the development of BI governance themes (Community, Technological Watch, Training, Monitoring, Knowledge Management, Organization, Compliance, Security, Quality, etc.).
- Immerse yourself in a business team to understand the daily life of a BI/Analytics Engineer (planning, requirements gathering, documentation, development, testing, deployment, etc.).
- Understand the challenges of the business squad you are assigned to.
- Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering with Data Product Managers, BI Engineers, Data Engineers, managers, and business teams.
- Synthesize expressed needs.
- Plan and implement BI solutions that will impact the team's daily operations.
- Oversee the design and implementation of solutions.
- Manage the deployment of tools.
- Communicate and support stakeholders in the adoption of new tools.
Additionally, the intern will assist the team in establishing BI governance within the company and engage in technological watch to explore various facets of achieving BI excellence.
Profile
You are in your final year of an engineering or Master's degree in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or an equivalent university program.
Technical Skills Required (Training, Tools, Languages…):
- SQL and all types of source databases (relational, non-relational, event streaming, IoT, APIs).
- Google Cloud (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, etc.).
- Power BI.
- Git, Jenkins, Airflow.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and cross-functionally with other departments.
- Organized, factual, concise, and precise.
- Proficiency in English and French.
