Overview
Metro’s mission is to provide a world-class transportation system that enhances the quality of life for all who live, work, and play within LA County. As the Director, Communications Digital Product, you will provide strategic leadership on Metro's Digital Experience team, overseeing customer-facing digital platforms including Metro.net, mobile apps, real-time information tools, and digital signage.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and manage the functional unit activities.
- Develop and implement marketing, PR, and customer communication policies and programs.
- Oversee product roadmap delivery ensuring accessible, reliable, and user-centered platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistent brand design and voice.
- Manage budgets, monitor work plans, and supervise assigned staff.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a related field and at least five years of management-level experience focused on customer-facing communications technology or marketing. A valid California Class C Driver License is required. Preferred candidates have experience with digital product roadmaps, user-centered design, and managing cross-functional teams.
