Part-Time Sales Associate

The role of a Sales Associate extends beyond just retail sales. At Lori’s, you will provide a trusted place for joy and support when people need it most. You will offer products and services that nurture, inspire, and comfort, creating an exceptional Guest experience in our gift shop.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

  • Greet customers and actively listen to their needs.
  • Maintain stocked inventory levels and report needs to the manager.
  • Market merchandise by adhering to advertising, sales promotion, and display plans.
  • Execute daily operational procedures with efficiency, diligence, and integrity.
  • Implement Lori’s Gifts policies and procedures.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED; candidates must be 16 years or older.
  • One year of work experience preferred.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation or public transit access.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Previous specialty or big box retail experience is ideal.
