About the Role: Assistant Manager - E-Learning and Content at L'Oréal

L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty, a world leader in dermo-cosmetics, is seeking a highly creative and organized Assistant Manager - E-Learning and Content to join their dynamic team. This remote role involves crafting engaging and impactful learning experiences for retail beauty service and medical sales teams, supporting the growth of renowned brands like Vichy, La Roche-Posay, and CeraVe. Reporting to the Manager - Education (E-Learning), you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Professional Marketing, Integrated Health, Retail, and Medical Education, to develop innovative training resources that drive business objectives.

What You Will Learn and Do

  • Curriculum Design and Development: Create compelling and effective training content, including modules, materials, and point-of-sale (POS) tools, aligned with divisional and customer objectives. This encompasses developing new programs and revising existing content to ensure relevance and impact.
  • Engaging Content Creation: Produce high-quality instructional materials, courses, curriculum, and training manuals that incorporate adult learning principles and maximize learner engagement. This includes designing visually appealing and informative resources such as presentations, videos, and interactive modules.
  • Educational Literature Management: Co-develop and manage all educational literature, including one-sheets, newsletters, and brand portfolios, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts, business partners, and external vendors to define project scope, develop content, and deliver a consistent learning experience across all platforms.
  • Training Deployment and Support: Support the distribution and implementation of new educational programs, tools, and systems, ensuring seamless rollout and user adoption.
  • Translation Management: Oversee the translation of core training modules and all retailer training materials, ensuring accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
  • Meeting Support and Logistics: Assist in the preparation and execution of education meetings, including logistics, material preparation, and participant management.
  • Needs Analysis and Continuous Improvement: Conduct needs analyses to identify emerging training requirements and incorporate feedback into the development and revision of core programs. Evaluate current educational technologies, trends, and tools, recommending innovative solutions to management.
  • Competitive Landscape Monitoring: Stay informed about competitors' activities and share insights that can inform future strategies and enhance the success of our brands.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 2+ Experience in Training, Content Creation, or a related field preferred
  • Cosmetic/skincare/dermatology industry experience preferred
  • Excellent design and writing skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Collaborative and influential approach to teamwork
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Experience in digital training development (e.g., apps, webinars, custom platforms) is a plus
  • Continuous self-motivated learner, adaptable to new technologies
  • Travel up to 25% including working evenings/weekends as needed with possible overnight stays
  • Valid US driver's license
