La Maison Longchamp, based in Paris, is an independent family business with an international reputation. Longchamp USA Inc is seeking a skilled Part Time Luxury Retail Sales Associate to join one of its 300 boutiques. This role contributes to the creation and distribution of high-quality fashion and leather goods.

Job Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining exceptional customer service, generating sales, handling POS operations, ensuring loss prevention, and upholding company policies and store standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Generate and maximize sales through effective customer engagement.
• Maintain product knowledge and adhere to merchandising guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system efficiently.
• Manage client books, record sales, and follow customer service protocols.
• Assist with gift wrapping, phone orders, and store merchandising activities.
• Participate in receiving, restocking, and floor stock monitoring.
• Adhere to loss prevention, store policies, and special project tasks.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma (or GED) required with either a degree in Retail, Fashion, or related field, or equivalent experience. At least three years of high-end retail or boutique sales experience is necessary. Proficiency with Cegid transactions, UPS system, and basic Microsoft Office applications is required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Efficient handling of POS systems and related transactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Organized self-starter with effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with inventory, merchandising, and loss prevention.
• French language skills are a plus.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

This role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 20 pounds, and performing repetitive motions. Candidates must be able to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
