Senior Finance Analyst - Treasury & Commercial

This role is open to current Brent Council employees or Temporary Agency Workers currently working with Brent Council. The role is permanent with 36 hours per week and offers a salary range of £64,317 - £67,812 p.a. (including London weighting).

Location: Civic Centre and other locations from time to time.

The Post

In this role, you will lead the Treasury Management function, responsible for cash flow management and maximising capital resources to support an ambitious Capital Programme.

  • Lead the management of the Council’s cash flow.
  • Support the commercial portfolio and wider capital programme.
  • Engage with members and senior stakeholders.
  • Provide high-level professional advice to officers and stakeholders.
  • Manage and lead staff towards effective operational delivery.

The Person

The successful candidate will be a driven, motivated, fully qualified accountant with excellent communication skills and experience in supporting budget management for complex, demand-led services. Experience in Treasury or related teams is essential.
