Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML-based pipelines preferred).
  • Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to improve service reliability.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
  • Monitor system health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Perform incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and postmortems.
  • Improve system resilience through automation, self-healing, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps and reliability best practices.
  • Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
  • Implement security, compliance, and governance controls in CI/CD workflows.
  • Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization (FinOps awareness).
  • Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-8 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Production Engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD).
  • Solid scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep).
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Windows system administration.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and cloud security basics.
  • Experience with Git and modern branching strategies.
