Tool Crib Attendant at Lockheed Martin

As a Tool Crib Attendant, you will perform routine and repetitive duties in the tool crib, ensuring efficient operations and accurate inventory management according to specified methods and procedures.

Basic Qualifications

The role requires moderate physical effort to handle a variety of light to medium parts, supplies, or tools. You will experience frequent periods of light activity dedicated to checking and completing paperwork and computer records, as well as handling light parts.

You must possess the ability to read, write, and apply simple arithmetic for maintaining files and inventory records. A basic understanding of computer usage and storekeeping practices is also essential.

Experience: Six (6) months to one (1) year of relevant experience is required.

Job Description

Your primary duties will involve attending the tool crib in accordance with clearly specified methods and procedures. While most tasks are routine, some judgment is required to check for inventory discrepancies, manage shortage items, and assist others in setting up optimal stock arrangements. You will also determine appropriate stock levels and the organization of items. Decisions are guided by specific instructions, are limited in scope, and often controlled by established precedents.
