Software Engineer - Lockheed Martin Space
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join the Erebus Program, a critical effort supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). This role involves developing cutting-edge intelligence and geospatial data management applications and services, contributing to national security missions.
About the Role
As a Software Engineer on the Erebus Program, you will be an integral part of a software development Scrum team. Your responsibilities will include assisting with software requirements verification, software development, and operational support. You will contribute to pioneering future automation solutions for the NGA and revolutionize intelligence distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with software requirements verification.
- Develop and support software applications and services.
- Participate in a Scrum team environment, utilizing Agile methodologies.
- Contribute to the development of next-generation geospatial intelligence software.
- Support critical national security missions.
Required Skills and Experience
- Hands-on software engineering skills.
- Proficiency in Java and/or TypeScript/Angular.
- Experience or knowledge of SCRUM processes.
- Experience or knowledge of System Requirements verification (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a government Top Secret security clearance.
