Overview
Lockheed Martin Space is at the forefront of a new space age, pioneering innovation and building solutions to challenging engineering problems. As a Signal Processing Engineer - Modeling and Simulation, you will join a team of hardware and software developers to perform mission analysis, requirements derivation, mission performance assessments, and develop verification tools for a state-of-the-art antenna system.
Responsibilities
- Develop approaches for verifying RF signals requirements using Python or Matlab.
- Perform detailed mission analysis of ground and satellite systems using STK and LM’s MPAT.
- Develop link budget assessments for RF systems over time.
- Establish system and subsystem requirements based on mission specifications.
- Analyze communication and pulsed signal behavior under various conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design systems and algorithms aligned with mission objectives.
Role Details
This is an early career level role requiring approximately 1 year of professional experience and a BS degree. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
