Project Engineer - NKAD & Counter-Swarm
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Project Engineer for the Non-Kinetic Air Defense (NKAD) and Counter-Swarm team. Join a dynamic and growing team responsible for the rapid design, prototyping, testing, and fielding of advanced solutions across all military services, often under highly accelerated timelines.
What You Will Be Doing
As the NKAD Project Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving end-to-end project execution within demanding timelines. You will collaborate closely with Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads and cross-functional team members to ensure the successful and timely delivery of critical defense capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, prototyping, testing, and rapid fielding of NKAD solutions.
- Coordinate cost, schedule, procurement, and risk management activities with IPT leads.
- Facilitate formal and informal reviews with internal stakeholders, government customers, and industry partners.
- Develop and maintain essential project documentation, action items, and deliverables.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster strong cross-functional collaboration.
