The Work
Assists the tool crib with inventory management including the on-site delivery of orders. Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts. Supports manufacturing production operations with standardization efforts.

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (or comparable combination of education and work experience).
- Basic math and analytical skills – able to perform accurate counts, calculate quantities/costs, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Proficiency with standard office and inventory software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, ERP/ERP‑like systems such as SAP MM, Oracle Inventory, or similar).
- Physical ability to handle material handling tasks – lift ≤ 50 lb, stand/move for extended periods, and operate small material‑moving equipment (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks).
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills – capable of inspecting deliveries, documenting irregularities, and collaborating with the tool crib, production, and suppliers.

- Inventory‑control fundamentals (cycle counts, FIFO/LIFO, bin location)
- Effective written & verbal communication (clear email, log entries, supplier interaction)
- Physical handling & safety awareness (proper lifting techniques, PPE use, forklift‑or‑hand‑truck operation)
