The Work
As an Entry-Level Software Cyber Engineer on the Offensive Cyber team, you will:
- Design & develop innovative software solutions that support offensive cyber operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineers, analysts, and mission planners to translate user needs into robust code.
- Debug, test, and refine existing applications, improving performance, reliability, and security.
- Create and execute software test plans to validate functionality and resilience.
- Contribute to continuous-improvement initiatives, proposing enhancements to tools, processes, and development pipelines.
- Stay ahead of emerging threats by researching new techniques, languages, and frameworks.
This role offers a fast-track launch for engineers who are passionate about building scalable, efficient, and mission-impacting software.
Basic Qualifications
- Candidate must possess active US security clearance with a polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or network engineering from an accredited college OR 4 years equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Computer Science, Information Systems or Network Engineering.
- 2 years experience Windows, Linux, or network programming.
- Able to install and configure anti-virus and spy-ware.
- Able to design, write and execute software test plans.
- Certifications in any of the following: MCSE: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, RHCE: Red Hat Certified Engineer, CEH: Certified Ethical Hacker, CCNA: Cisco Certified Network Associate.
