What You'll Do
As a Member Of Our Team, you will be involved in a variety of activities aimed at enhancing the cyber resiliency of the USSF Space Fence System Radar. This includes tasks such as:
- Hardening operating systems, applications, and network devices
- Conducting vulnerability scans
- Continuous monitoring of the security posture of the system
- Assisting with Government Certification Test and Evaluation (CT&E) and Vulnerability Testing
- Implementing security updates and patches
- Applying configuration changes to ESS, ACAS, and SolarWinds security tools
- Providing support to maintain the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of the system to include support of the RMF package
- Supporting system administrators, engineers, and operators when troubleshooting events
- Collaboration with system stakeholders to ensure the cybersecurity posture of the system is maintained
- Interfacing with and supporting the ISSO and other government security stakeholders
- Supporting the Security Impact Analysis (SIA) process through the generation of Contract Deliverables (CDRL) and RMF supporting artifacts both on unclassified and classified networks.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrable and relevant cybersecurity engineering or systems administration experience.
- Good working knowledge of Linux or Windows based systems.
- Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification or higher (e.g. CompTIA Security+ or CISSP).
- Ability to obtain a Secret DoD security clearance prior to starting this position.
- US citizenship is required for obtaining a Security Clearance.
- Ability to travel up to 10% to customer sites throughout the U.S.
- Must hold a valid US passport.
Desired Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Tenable Security Center, Tenable Nessus, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) administration experience.
- ACAS scanning.
- Trellix and Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) administration and monitoring.
- SolarWinds tools experience.
- Linux/Red Hat or Windows OS certifications.
- Experience with Windows Active Directory and Group Policy maintenance.
- Familiarity with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
- Troubleshooting as a systems administrator.
- Good organizational and coordination skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to support and collaborate with a team.
- Critical thinking skills to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Familiarity with eMASS and maintaining and executing a POA&M.
