Job Description
Overview
The AI Manager - Security & Infrastructure at Lockheed Martin is responsible for overseeing AI operations, security, and infrastructure for the AI Factory platform. The role involves managing a team, working closely with cross-functional partners, and ensuring the stability and reliability of AI/ML computing resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of infrastructure and platform engineers
- Build and maintain computing environments for AI systems
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and cybersecurity teams
- Implement software and cyber security practices (MFA, encryption, etc.)
- Manage on-prem and cloud deployments with vendors
Required Skills & Experience
- Leadership in AI Operations and Security
- Proficiency in Software Security and Cyber Security practices
- Experience with Linux, containerization, orchestration and monitoring tools
- Strong programming skills with Python, Go, and Bash
- Active secret clearance required
Additional Skills
- Familiarity with Pipeline Automation (ArgoCD, Tekton, Gitlab CI/CD)
- Expertise with Kubernetes and container security tools
- Knowledge about DevSecOps and cloud native practices
- Experience with infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform)
- Strong communication and collaboration across teams
