The Opportunity: Operations Analyst at Localpayment

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Analyst to support and optimize our daily payment operations across numerous international markets. This pivotal role involves ensuring smooth transaction flows, rigorously monitoring performance, efficiently resolving operational issues, and spearheading continuous improvements within our sophisticated fintech infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily payment operations (payins/payouts) to ensure accuracy and optimal performance across all markets.
• Analyze comprehensive transaction data to proactively detect potential issues, anomalies, or valuable optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate seamlessly with diverse internal teams including Product, Tech, Finance, Compliance, and Reconciliation, as well as external partners, to effectively resolve operational incidents.
• Track critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as approval rates, processing times, reconciliation gaps, and adherence to operational SLAs.
• Provide essential support for reconciliation processes involving merchants, partners, and internal systems.
• Prepare insightful operational reports and clear dashboards for leadership and relevant stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and propose impactful process improvements to significantly enhance operational efficiency and scalability.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a closely related analytical field.
• 2–4 years of proven experience in operations within the dynamic Fintech environment.
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to interpret and derive insights from large datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• A highly detail-oriented mindset combined with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, and a proven ability to work cross-functionally.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential.
