The Role

As a Compliance Data Analyst at Localcoin, you will leverage data to monitor customer transactions, identify trends, and detect potential risks. You will support the Chief Compliance Officer by preparing reports for regulators, maintaining compliance datasets, and ensuring our Compliance Policies are supported by accurate, timely insights.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and auditors.
  • Extract, analyze, and visualize complex compliance data.
  • Bridge the gap between Compliance and technical teams.
  • Drive global expansion compliance initiatives.
  • Monitor alerts and design scenarios to detect risks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop proficiency in compliance software tools.
  • Act as primary interface between Compliance and Product/Development teams.
  • Define compliance-driven product specifications.
  • Build and analyze SQL and other reports on compliance data.
  • Review transaction monitoring alerts and design risk scenarios.

Nice to Haves

Prior experience in a global organization, exposure to cryptocurrency compliance, and understanding of regulatory frameworks (AML) beyond KYC.

What We're Looking For

  • 0-3 years of experience in data analysis.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, Python, Jira, API integrations.
  • Fluent English with strong analytical reporting skills.
