Overview

LMI is seeking a proactive Project Manager to support LMI’s Department of Veteran’s Affairs account. In this role, you’ll support a team of Program Managers who lead Agile teams, manage complex technical projects, and work directly with clients to deliver meaningful, mission-focused solutions. We need someone who is detail oriented, can think on their feet, and can communicate effectively across all levels of an organization. You’ll serve as a trusted teammate, on a hardworking team that does innovative work to support the mission of the Department of Veteran’s Affairs!

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Manager and Senior Program Manager across multiple contract tasks, providing day-to-day project coordination and execution support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for meeting logistics, including developing agendas, capturing accurate meeting minutes, tracking action items, and distributing follow-ups
  • Act as a flexible, trusted project support resource, stepping in to lead meetings or Scrum ceremonies when the Program Manager is unavailable
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional, confident, and responsive client-facing interactions
  • Support contract deliverables by coordinating inputs, tracking status, and ensuring timely completion
  • Develop, update, and manage task-level PowerPoint presentations and client-ready materials
  • Organize, maintain, and standardize documentation across SharePoint sites, including SOPs, trackers, and reporting artifacts
  • Manage team onboarding processes for Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) access and tools
  • Maintain shared project calendars to track milestones, meetings, and deadlines
  • Stand up and maintain project trackers to support visibility into task progress, risks, and dependencies
  • Proofread and quality-check contract deliverables to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance
  • Support internal reporting, including quarterly reviews, PMRs, and leadership briefings
  • Collaborate across technical, data, and program teams to ensure alignment and execution of priorities
  • Proactively identify gaps, risks, or process improvements and recommend solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., business, management, public administration, information systems, or similar)
  • 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, task management, or project management support roles
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic, client-facing environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage tasks, deadlines, and competing priorities
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with experience in creating client-ready presentations
  • Proven experience developing meeting agendas, capturing meeting minutes, and tracking action items
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort representing project leadership in meetings when needed
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proven self-starter with a high degree of accountability and follow-through
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other federal government contracts
  • Demonstrated knowledge or interest in public health policy and implementation, mental health, suicide prevention, and/or community-based interventions.
  • Active or previously held Public Trust clearance
  • Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., MBA, Public Administration, Information Systems)
  • Project management or Agile certification (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, CSM, PSM)
  • Experience supporting Agile or Scrum teams, including sprint ceremonies and backlog coordination
  • Familiarity working with data-focused teams and comfort with terminology related to SQL, Power BI, and SharePoint
  • Experience developing or maintaining project dashboards, trackers, or reporting tools (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform, Jira)
