  • Coordinating, with the Personal Assistant and Business Support Manager, the efficient day-to-day running of the Executive Office based on team needs.
  • Ensuring smooth operation and alignment of IP&I COO team meetings and calls, including briefing, agenda agreement, and content shaping.
  • Briefing the IP&I COO for all committee, board, and regulatory sessions in a timely manner, collaborating with the leadership team for additional information.
  • Screening incoming information and communications for the IP&I COO, responding, rerouting, and prioritising as appropriate.
  • Developing and writing high-quality papers for senior audiences like Board or Executive committees, distilling complex information into compelling narratives.
  • Engaging senior partners to influence key business decisions, improve cross-team ways of working, and anticipate emerging matters for appropriate representation.
  • Working with the broader leadership team to develop and implement IP&I COO-specific plans, considering wider business, customer, colleague, risk, governance, and regulatory contexts.
  • Building relationships with Business Partners (Finance, Risk, People) to provide high-quality support and ensure budget targets, risk, compliance, and service level standards are met.
  • Undertaking specific research on a wide range of subject matter, recommending solutions/actions where appropriate.
  • Collaborating with internal communications and Group Corporate Affairs to plan, coordinate, and deliver events, presentations, and communication activities aligned with business strategy.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong application of judgment.
  • Capable of reacting to multiple and constantly evolving demands, with experience delivering effectively through others.
  • Proficiency in navigating complexity, distilling detailed information into clear, actionable insights, and applying structured thinking.
  • A good understanding of financial services and experience in proactively managing risk is advantageous.
