A groundbreaking leader in consumer privacy, data ethics, and foundational identity, LiveRamp is setting the new standard for building a connected customer view with unmatched clarity and context while protecting precious brand and consumer trust. LiveRamp offers complete flexibility to collaborate wherever data lives to support the widest range of data collaboration use cases—within organizations, between brands, and across its premier global network of top-quality partners.

Hundreds of global innovators, from iconic consumer brands and tech giants to banks, retailers, and healthcare leaders turn to LiveRamp to build enduring brand and business value by deepening customer engagement and loyalty, activating new partnerships, and maximizing the value of their first-party data while staying on the forefront of rapidly evolving compliance and privacy requirements.

Your Responsibilities as a Junior UX Researcher

  • Conduct user research using both quantitative methods (e.g., benchmarking, surveys, product analytics) and qualitative methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, hypothesis testing).
  • Analyze and synthesize findings to deliver actionable insights across discovery, ideation, and development phases.
  • Evangelize user-centered methods and guide partners who are conducting their own research to uphold quality and consistency.
  • Develop research strategies throughout the product lifecycle—from concept to launch—and for ongoing optimization of experiences.
  • Partner closely with product and design to define and track key product metrics that measure progress of user experiences toward critical business objectives.

Your Team at LiveRamp

You’ll join a small, high-impact UX Research team embedded in a larger design organization, working across the full product suite and collaborating with PMs, designers, and commercial teams to reach the right users. The team experiments with new approaches (including AI) to increase impact and efficiency, and values strong communication, collaboration, and user advocacy to influence outcomes across many teams—even when the final decisions sit elsewhere.

About You

  • Proven track record of influencing product direction with actionable customer insights.
  • 2+ years of experience in UX research (or UX/product design with a strong research focus).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • An online case-study portfolio showcasing research artifacts, process, and impact; required for consideration.
  • Experience leveraging research outputs to remove roadblocks, reduce churn, and help teams deliver on outcomes while strengthening relationships across teams and with end users.
  • Comfortable working with large product analytics datasets; base-level proficiency in data analytics languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to advocate for users and drive action on insights across diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in enterprise SaaS and/or AdTech.
  • Experience with business intelligence or data visualization products.
  • Experience with telemetry and instrumentation data analysis.
  • Experience using AI tools or agents (e.g., NotebookLM, Gemini) within a research practice.
  • Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field.

The approximate annual base compensation range is $77,000 to $111,500. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
