Sr. GenAI Engineer

Job Overview

The Sr. GenAI Engineer at Littler is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom workflows and applications leveraging LLMs, particularly OpenAI GPT models. This role advances and modernizes the firm’s use of Generative AI technologies, including developing proof-of-concept applications and supporting production use of LLMs in custom applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GenAI solutions including RAG-based chat and document summarization.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers.
• Conduct research on the latest advancements in GenAI.
• Optimize and fine-tune GenAI pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Create and fine-tune prompts through prompt engineering.
• Deploy Python-based applications via Streamlit and integrate with Azure services.
• Work with the custom application development team to transition POC apps into enterprise-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience with Python.
• 3+ years experience with Azure Databricks and other Azure services.
• 3+ years experience with SQL (SSMS preferred).
• 3+ years experience in GenAI workflow development with OpenAI GPT models.
• 2+ years experience with prompt engineering and RAG architectures.
• 2+ years experience with vector databases and large-scale NLP.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
