About the Role

Littler Mendelson P.C. is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 8 years of labor and employment litigation experience to join Littler CaseSmart as a Littler CaseSmart Counsel, Early Case Evaluation attorney. This is a full-time, remote position open to attorneys licensed in their state of residence.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will conduct initial factual investigations into new litigation matters and partner with case teams on strategy. Key duties include:

  • Collecting and reviewing key documents for case evaluation.
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to case teams.
  • Drafting answers, corporate disclosure statements, and settlement agreements.
  • Preparing Early Case Evaluations with objective analysis of claims and defenses.
  • Facilitating an effective transition into discovery and subsequent case phases.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 8 years of employment litigation experience.
  • Hands-on experience managing cases through their entire life cycle.
  • The ability to provide objective valuations and strategic recommendations.
  • An active bar license in the state of residence.
