  • Provide critical technical expertise in product classification, including the assignment of HS codes, export control classifications, origin determination, and preferential origin qualification.
  • Support the development, meticulous maintenance, and continuous improvement of regional trade compliance procedures and control documentation, ensuring absolute alignment with global policies and evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively monitor regulatory developments and accurately assess associated risks, providing timely and precise guidance to operational teams and leadership.
  • Support regional audit readiness activities, including internal audits, AEO assessments, and comprehensive regulatory compliance testing.
  • Contribute significantly to cross-functional projects related to compliance system enhancements, process redesign, or critical regulatory implementation.

About You

  • Professional or higher education in International Trade, International Business, Law, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in import/export operations, trade compliance, or internal audit.
  • Strong, in-depth knowledge of customs regulations, export controls, precise product classification, origin determination, Incoterms, and complex licensing requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and a robust process orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in additional European languages is a valuable asset.
