Job Overview
The Senior Content Marketing Strategist role is a hybrid position based in San Francisco, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, or NYC. This role leads strategic direction and performance of content across LinkedIn’s owned, earned, and paid channels, targeting both B2B and B2C audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Content Leadership: Evolve content strategy that connects storytelling with business impact.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, brand, comms, creative, and analytics teams.
- Intake & Brief Management: Streamline briefs and manage activations with the CoE.
- Campaigns and Events: Lead content strategy for go-to-market campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Performance & Insights: Define metrics, analyze performance, and refine content initiatives.
- Trendspotting & Innovation: Monitor trends and pilot emerging formats and tools.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure consistency across regions and business units.
Qualifications
Requirements include 7+ years in content strategy for B2B/B2C sectors, 5+ years collaborating in matrixed environments, and 4+ years managing cross-functional projects. Preferred qualifications include experience in global content management, working with influencer or thought leadership content, and utilizing performance analysis tools.
Compensation & Additional Information
The pay range for this role is $125,000 to $195,000 with a total compensation package that may include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits, and other incentives.
