Overview
The AVP, AI Engineering Transformation & Enablement at Lincoln Financial is a key leader driving enterprise IT transformation. You will serve as the Product Manager for the AI Developer Tooling Portfolio, including agentic workflows, coding assistants, and testing/documentation copilots. Your mission is to accelerate delivery while strengthening quality, security, and developer experience.
Responsibilities
- Define and institutionalize AI-enabled SDLC practices and golden paths.
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for the AI Developer Tooling Portfolio.
- Collaborate with CISO, Privacy, and Legal on Responsible AI.
- Drive adoption through training programs and structured change management.
- Act as a subject matter expert, translating AI concepts into actionable strategies.
- Facilitate cross-team alignment on standards, governance, and implementation.
- Measure and deliver outcomes on flow, quality, security, and ROI.
- Manage vendor ecosystem, licensing, and budget optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years in application development and product management for internal developer platforms.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and modern development practices (Agile, DevOps, MLOps/LMMOps).
- Experience with modern toolchains (Git, CI/CD, test automation, observability) and GenAI in engineering.
- Solid governance and security mindset including privacy, IP, model risk, and data protection.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience applying AI technologies to support application development teams.
- Leadership roles in team strategy, delivery, and technical execution.
- Certifications in Agile or DevOps practices.
- Experience with ROI analysis, cost-benefit modeling, and value frameworks.
Additional Information
This is a hybrid role with work locations in Radnor, PA; Charlotte, NC; Fort Wayne, IN; and Greensboro, NC. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and career development opportunities. The base salary for this role falls within a range from $146,501 to $264,700, with new hires anticipated between the minimum and midpoint.
