IT Security Manager

Job Overview

The IT Security Manager at Linamar Corporation leads the IT Security team and manages the security of IT systems and networks. This role ensures compliance with standards and regulations and collaborates with IT Managers, business units, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cyber security policies and procedures.
• Oversee security of IT systems and respond to incidents.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and recommend solutions.
• Lead recruitment, training, and mentoring of the IT Security team.
• Coordinate cyber security initiatives with other IT managers and business units.
• Liaise with external stakeholders on cyber security matters.
• Stay updated on cyber security trends and technologies.

Academic & Certification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cyber security or related field. Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years in cyber security in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks and best practices.
• Proficiency in cyber tools and technologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
