About the role

Front Office Receptionist

We’re looking for a Receptionist (m/f/d) to join our team in Madrid! We’re looking for an exceptional team member to take care of our guests in the city center properties.

How you’ll be hosting with heart:

  • Welcome guests on arrival and support a smooth, friendly check-in experience, addressing any questions with professionalism and warmth.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints with empathy, applying effective service recovery techniques to ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide knowledgeable local recommendations on restaurants, transport, and sightseeing to enhance the guest experience.
  • Manage the Property Management System (PMS), including updating room status, maintaining accurate guest profiles, and coordinating room readiness.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Guest Experience, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and deliver seamless service.
  • Contribute to creating a unique, memorable property experience while driving positive guest reviews and overall satisfaction.

What you need to shoot for the stars:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or related field - or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken. An additional European language is a plus.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in hospitality operations, ideally in front-office roles and handling the day-to-day in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills; ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
  • Confident in conflict resolution, especially when dealing with partners and guests.
  • Comfortable working with project management software & tools, and quick to learn new ones.
  • Willingness to work on a Mon-Sun rotating schedule, from 10 am-7 pm (one hour lunch break).
