Position Overview
The Quality Control Manager will raise the bar for product excellence, manage end-to-end QC operations, lead a growing team, and work directly with suppliers. The role balances hands-on inspections with strategic process improvements and supplier partnerships to support rapid growth. Collaboration with Customer Service, Fulfillment, Inventory Planning and Manufacturing teams is essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead and expand the Quality Control team, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Own daily QC operations and perform inspections
- Track KPIs such as defect rates, return rates, and supplier performance
- Monitor customer feedback and drive product improvements
- Collaborate with internal teams: Customer Service, Fulfillment, Inventory Planning, and Manufacturing
- Implement quality assurance systems and process improvements
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure product quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement projects to support 2–3x growth
- Ensure budget targets are met
- Complete other tasks as required
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or related field (DTC or e-commerce preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Experience leading teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize effectively
- Familiarity with quality control systems or tools
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, authorized to work in the US, and capable of physical tasks
