About the Role
Lightspeed Commerce is seeking a dynamic and meticulous Research Analyst, Partnerships to join our growing Partnerships team in NoAM Retail. In this role, you will support Channel Sales Managers by providing the foundational data and insights needed to build and nurture strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research to define the Ideal Partner Profile (IPP) within retail.
- Develop targeted hit lists of prospective partners for Channel Sales Managers.
- Gather and analyze data on partnership effectiveness, including lead generation, conversion rates, and overall ROI.
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts.
- Support Channel Sales Managers by providing company information and actionable insights.
- Maintain an updated, comprehensive database of partner information.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings for senior management.
- Contribute to special projects and partner call lists, including proactive outbound calling.
What You Need to Bring
- Experience in research analysis, market research, or business intelligence.
- Proficiency with research tools such as Clay, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with strong data presentation ability.
- Understanding of SaaS and the Retail industry is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and detail-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Mac OS, G Suite, Slack, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
