Associate Technical Writer (Customer Content team)

About the Role

Lightspeed Commerce is seeking an Associate Technical Writer for their Customer Content team in Montreal. In this role, you will collaborate with a global team of 8 content professionals across Canada, New Zealand, and the Philippines, working alongside subject matter experts to research, write, edit, translate, upload, publish, localize, and maintain self-serve content for retail help centers and other portals.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and write self-serve content in French and English.
• Edit, translate, upload, publish and localize content.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively across global time zones.
• Participate in peer review, self-learning, and process improvement.

Qualifications

This entry-level role requires:

• Exceptional written and verbal skills in French and English.
• Experience in technical writing or similar content roles.
• Proficiency in writing and translating technical content.
• Experience with KMS/CMS tools and basic HTML coding.
• Bonus: Experience with localization tools.
