Job Role

As a QA Engineer, you will write and execute manual and automated tests to ensure product quality. You will design and implement tests, debug issues, and take corrective actions. Your role is vital in ensuring that our products are error-free and reliable before launch.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Plan, write, and execute end-to-end test cases (bonus).
  • Utilize SQL and scripting knowledge to support testing efforts.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of proven work experience in software development and quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with both white box and black box testing along with automated testing tools.
  • Hands-on experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
  • Experience in working within an Agile/Scrum development process.
